Roles and Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management
- Recruit, train, and mentor inside sales representatives to build a high-performing team.
- Set clear performance expectations and monitor the progress of individual and team KPIs.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback.
- Foster a motivating and collaborative work environment.
Sales Strategy and Execution
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling, up-selling, and customer retention.
- Monitor and analyse sales metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage the sales pipeline and ensure consistent deal closure.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with key clients and understand their business needs.
- Handle escalations and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Leverage customer feedback to refine sales strategies and offerings.
Coordination with Stakeholders
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create and execute lead-generation campaigns.
- Work with product teams to ensure a deep understanding of the company’s offerings.
- Liaise with senior management to report sales performance and forecast revenue.
Technology and Tools
- Ensure effective utilization of CRM tools and sales software.
- Analyse sales data to inform decision-making and improve productivity.
- Train the team on tools and sales technologies to enhance performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience in inside sales, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and CRM tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and drive actionable insights.
- Ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve challenging goals.
